Description
Creamy Cajun Garlic Butter Spaghetti with Beef Strips is a comforting pasta dish full of flavor, heat, and indulgent textures. Tender beef strips sit atop a bed of spaghetti tossed in a rich garlic butter and Cajun cream sauce—perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.
Ingredients
12 oz spaghetti
1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, sliced into strips
3 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
½ tsp paprika
¼ tsp black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
Salt to taste
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
2. Season beef strips with salt, pepper, and a pinch of Cajun seasoning.
3. In a hot skillet with olive oil, sear beef strips on each side until golden and cooked to your preference. Remove and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Cajun seasoning, paprika, and black pepper. Let simmer 3–5 minutes.
6. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce is smooth.
7. Add cooked spaghetti and toss in the sauce. Use pasta water to loosen if needed.
8. Top with seared beef strips and garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan if desired. Serve hot.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for the creamiest, smoothest sauce.
Don’t overcook the beef; aim for medium to keep it tender.
Reserve pasta water—it’s key for adjusting the sauce texture later.
