2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

8 oz fettuccine or egg noodles

3 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Season the Chicken: Pat chicken dry and season both sides with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and rest.
  3. Cook the Noodles: Boil noodles in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve a little pasta water.
  4. Butter the Noodles: Return noodles to the pot, stir in butter and a splash of pasta water. Mix until well coated. Adjust seasoning if needed.
