Description

This Chocolate Cherry Cream Pie is a no-bake dessert dream—layers of juicy cherry filling, creamy chocolate mousse, and fluffy whipped topping all in a buttery pie crust. It’s easy to make, visually stunning, and tastes like pure comfort with a gourmet touch. Perfect for gatherings, holidays, or anytime you want something fruity and rich in chocolate.

Ingredients

Scale

1 9-inch pie crust, pre-baked or graham cracker

1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling

1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix

1 ½ cups cold whole milk

8 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, divided

½ cup chocolate chips

12 maraschino cherries, for garnish

Instructions

1. Pre-bake your pie crust according to package or recipe directions and let it cool completely. For graham crust, press into a pie dish and chill for at least 30 minutes.

2. Spread the cherry pie filling evenly into the bottom of the cooled crust.

3. In a bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth.

4. In another bowl, whisk chocolate pudding mix with cold milk until thickened.

5. Fold pudding into the cream cheese mixture, then fold in half of the whipped topping.

6. Spread the chocolate cream layer over the cherry layer evenly.

7. Top with the remaining whipped topping and smooth it across the surface.

8. Garnish with maraschino cherries and chocolate chips.

9. Chill the pie for at least 3 hours or overnight before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use softened cream cheese for a smoother filling—cold cream cheese can leave lumps.

Whip your pudding until it’s firm before folding it into the cream cheese mixture to keep the layers distinct.

A serrated knife dipped in warm water makes slicing through the layers much easier and cleaner.
