1 cup caramel sauce (thick and buttery)
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup unsalted butter, sliced thin
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Vanilla ice cream, for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Pour caramel sauce into the dish and swirl in evaporated milk.
- Evenly sprinkle chocolate cake mix over the caramel layer. Do not mix.
- Top with chocolate chips, then distribute butter slices over the surface.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes until the top is crisp and the edges are bubbling.
- Let cool 10 minutes before serving. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired.
