Ingredients
Boneless skinless chicken thighs
Greek yogurt
Lemon juice
Olive oil
Fresh garlic
Ground cumin
Paprika
Ground coriander
Turmeric
Ground cinnamon
Allspice
Salt and pepper
Mayonnaise
Fresh parsley or cilantro (for garnish)
Optional: Pickles, lettuce, pita or flatbread
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a large bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, cumin, paprika, coriander, turmeric, cinnamon, allspice, salt, and pepper.
- Marinate the Chicken: Add chicken thighs and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Make Garlic Sauce: Combine mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well and refrigerate.
- Cook the Chicken: In a hot skillet or grill pan, cook chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side until fully cooked and browned. Let rest, then slice.
- Assemble: Serve chicken with garlic sauce in pita, wraps, or on a salad. Add pickles, herbs, and lettuce as desired.
