3 cups cooked, shredded chicken

2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1 cup sour cream

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cups bread cubes or crushed crackers

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine chicken, mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  4. In a separate bowl, toss bread cubes or crushed crackers with melted butter until coated.
  5. Sprinkle the buttery topping evenly over the casserole.
  6. Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown on top.
