Description
Cajun Steak Cheesy Rigatoni Parmesan is a decadent pasta dish combining seared Cajun-seasoned steak bites with creamy Parmesan rigatoni. It’s an easy weeknight dinner that feels gourmet, with a balance of spicy, cheesy, and savory flavors.
Ingredients
400g rigatoni pasta
400g sirloin or ribeye steak, cubed
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook rigatoni until al dente. Drain, reserving ½ cup pasta water.
2. Season steak cubes with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over high heat. Sear steak bites on all sides until browned (2–3 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream, scraping pan bits. Simmer 2–3 minutes, then whisk in Parmesan until smooth. Adjust seasoning as needed.
4. Toss rigatoni into sauce, adding pasta water if needed to thin. Stir until evenly coated.
5. Plate pasta, top with steak bites, and sprinkle extra Parmesan and black pepper. Serve hot.
