Description
Cajun Garlic Butter Steak with Cheesy Alfredo Tortellini is a rich and flavorful dinner that brings the spice of perfectly seared Cajun steak bites together with cheesy tortellini smothered in creamy Alfredo sauce. It’s a balanced, indulgent dish that feels fancy but is simple enough to make on any weeknight.
Ingredients
1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak, cubed
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
10 oz cheese tortellini
1½ cups Alfredo sauce
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Pat steak dry and cut into bite-sized cubes. Season with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak cubes in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds.
4. Return steak to the pan and toss in the garlic butter. Remove from heat.
5. Meanwhile, boil tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
6. In a separate saucepan, warm the Alfredo sauce over low heat. Stir in cooked tortellini until fully coated.
7. Plate tortellini and top with Cajun garlic butter steak. Garnish with fresh parsley and cracked black pepper.
Notes
Use well-marbled steak cuts like ribeye or sirloin for tender results.
Don’t overcrowd the pan while searing steak to maintain a crispy crust.
Add a splash of milk or cream when reheating to loosen the Alfredo sauce.
