Description
This bold and creamy pasta dish brings together Cajun-seasoned ground beef and a velvety cream cheese Alfredo sauce, all tossed with bowtie pasta. It’s hearty, flavorful, and comes together in under 40 minutes—perfect for busy weeknights or a cozy family dinner.
Ingredients
12 oz bowtie pasta
1 lb lean ground beef
4 oz cream cheese
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (or to taste)
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
3. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until fully browned. Stir in Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
4. Lower the heat to medium-low. Add cream cheese in chunks, stirring until completely melted.
5. Slowly pour in heavy cream, stirring continuously to create a smooth sauce.
6. Add shredded Parmesan and stir until fully melted and incorporated.
7. Toss in the cooked bowtie pasta and stir until everything is evenly coated in the sauce.
8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Soften the cream cheese before cooking to ensure it melts quickly and doesn’t clump in the sauce.
Taste as you go with Cajun seasoning—it can vary in heat depending on the brand.
Reheat with a splash of cream or milk to restore the silky consistency of the sauce.
