Description

A savory and satisfying way to start your day, this Breakfast Bagel Sandwich combines soft scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, melty cheddar, and fresh herbs on a warm toasted bagel. Perfect for busy mornings or a cozy brunch.


Ingredients

1 bagel, sliced and toasted

2 large eggs

2 slices cheddar cheese

2 slices bacon

1 tablespoon butter

1 tablespoon chopped chives or green onions

Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

1. Slice the bagel and toast both halves until golden brown and crisp.

2. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

3. Crack the eggs into a bowl, season with salt and pepper, and whisk.

4. In a nonstick skillet over low heat, melt the butter and add the eggs. Gently stir until soft scrambled.

5. Lay cheddar cheese over the warm eggs and cover the pan briefly to melt.

6. Place the cheesy eggs on the bottom half of the toasted bagel.

7. Add crispy bacon strips and sprinkle with chopped chives or green onions.

8. Top with the other bagel half, press gently, and serve immediately.


Notes
