Description

This Boursin Baked Salmon is rich, creamy, and incredibly easy to make. Each fillet is topped with garlic & herb Boursin cheese, smothered in cream, and finished with a bubbly mozzarella topping. It’s a perfect weeknight dinner or impressive main dish for guests.

Ingredients

Scale

4 salmon fillets

5.2 oz Boursin cheese (Garlic & Fine Herbs)

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil or nonstick spray.

2. Arrange the salmon fillets in the baking dish, patting them dry with a paper towel.

3. Season each fillet with salt and pepper.

4. Spread a generous layer of Boursin cheese over the top of each salmon fillet.

5. Pour the heavy cream around the salmon in the dish (not on top).

6. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the Boursin layer on each fillet.

7. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the salmon is flaky and the cheese is bubbly and golden.

8. Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

For even baking, use center-cut salmon fillets that are similar in thickness.

Let the Boursin come to room temperature for easier spreading.

To reheat leftovers, add a splash of cream to maintain the sauce’s consistency.
