Instructions
- Make the crust: Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter. Press into a 9-inch pie dish. Chill for 30 minutes.
- Prepare dulce de leche: Simmer the sweetened condensed milk over low heat for 45–60 minutes until thick and golden. Stir regularly. Let cool.
- Add caramel layer: Spread cooled dulce de leche over the chilled crust.
- Slice bananas: Arrange sliced bananas evenly over the caramel.
- Whip cream: Beat heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- Top the pie: Spread whipped cream over bananas. Add chocolate shavings if desired.
- Chill and serve: Refrigerate for 1–2 hours before slicing.
