Perfect for dessert lovers looking for indulgent food ideas, this easy recipe works beautifully as a holiday treat, dinner party centerpiece, or make-ahead dessert. With its smooth texture and bold flavor combination, it’s one of those dessert ideas you’ll come back to again and again.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups graham cracker crumbs

1/2 cup melted butter

3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened

1 cup brown sugar

3 ripe bananas, mashed

3 large eggs

1/2 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

1 cup caramel sauce

2 bananas, sliced (for topping)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and press into a springform pan. Bake for 8–10 minutes and let cool.

2. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add brown sugar and mix until creamy.

3. Blend in mashed bananas, then add eggs one at a time, mixing gently after each.

4. Stir in heavy cream and vanilla extract until smooth and silky.

5. Pour filling over crust. Place pan in a water bath and bake at 325°F (160°C) for 55–65 minutes.

6. Turn off oven, crack the door, and let cheesecake cool inside for 1 hour.

7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

8. Before serving, top with banana slices, caramel sauce, and chopped nuts.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for maximum sweetness and smooth texture.

Always use a water bath to prevent cracks and ensure even baking.

Add toppings just before serving to keep bananas fresh and nuts crunchy.
