Whether you’re craving a cozy weekend dinner, planning a backyard get-together, or looking for new dinner ideas, this easy recipe delivers smoky Southern charm with minimal effort. Ideal for anyone looking for easy dinner, food ideas, oven-baked ribs, or Southern comfort food.

Ingredients

Scale

2 racks baby back ribs

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 cup barbecue sauce

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons honey

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the silver skin membrane from the back of the ribs and pat dry.

2. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.

3. Place ribs on foil-lined baking sheet, drizzle with apple cider vinegar, and wrap tightly in foil.

4. Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender and meat pulls away from the bones.

5. Unwrap ribs, discard liquid, and brush with barbecue sauce mixed with Worcestershire sauce and honey.

6. Broil ribs on high for 3–5 minutes until glaze is sticky and bubbling. Watch closely!

7. Let rest for 5–10 minutes, slice, and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the ribs in the dry rub overnight in the fridge.

Use a broiler-safe tray for the final glaze to avoid flare-ups.

Make sure to remove the membrane from the ribs—it’s key to getting that fall-off-the-bone texture.
