Description

A crispy, flavor-packed twist on a restaurant favorite! These Applebee’s Chicken Wonton Tacos bring together tender marinated chicken, crunchy coleslaw, and crisp wonton shells in one irresistible bite. Perfect for parties or a fun dinner at home.

Ingredients

Scale

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon vegetable oil (for cooking)

1 cup coleslaw mix

2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted

12 square wonton wrappers

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, hoisin sauce, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Add diced chicken and marinate for 20 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté chicken until cooked through and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F. Shape wonton wrappers into taco shells using a muffin tin or rack. Bake for 6-8 minutes or until golden and crisp.
  4. Fill each wonton shell with chicken. Top with coleslaw, cilantro, and sesame seeds.
  5. Serve immediately while warm and crunchy.
