Description

Air Fryer Cheesy Taco Bombs are the ultimate comfort snack—crispy on the outside, loaded with seasoned taco beef and melty cheddar inside. These bite-sized bundles are air-fried to golden perfection, ideal for weeknight dinners, party appetizers, or game-day cravings. Serve with your favorite dips and watch them disappear fast!

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound ground beef

2 tablespoons taco seasoning

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 large biscuits)

1 egg, beaten

2 tablespoons water

1 cup crushed tortilla chips (optional)

Sour cream, guacamole, or salsa for serving (optional)

Instructions

1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Drain any excess fat.

2. Stir in taco seasoning and a splash of water. Simmer until thickened, about 3–5 minutes. Set aside to cool.

3. Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch round using your hands or a rolling pin.

4. Place 1 tablespoon of taco meat and a pinch of cheddar cheese into the center of each round.

5. Fold the dough around the filling and pinch the edges tightly to seal.

6. In a small bowl, beat the egg with 2 tablespoons of water to make an egg wash.

7. Brush each sealed taco bomb with egg wash.

8. (Optional) Roll the bombs in crushed tortilla chips for extra crunch.

9. Preheat air fryer to 350°F.

10. Place taco bombs seam-side down in the basket. Air fry for 7–9 minutes until golden and cooked through.

11. Serve warm with dips like sour cream, guacamole, or salsa.

Notes

Ensure seams are pinched tightly to prevent the filling from leaking during cooking.

Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket—work in batches if needed for even cooking.

Let the beef mixture cool slightly before stuffing to avoid melting the dough prematurely.
