Description

These Achari Paneer Naan Bombs are soft, golden naan balls stuffed with a spiced, tangy paneer filling. Inspired by Indian achari (pickle-style) flavors, they’re perfect as a party snack, appetizer, or savory treat. Serve them hot with chutney or yogurt dip and watch them disappear fast!

Ingredients

Scale

1 1/2 cups paneer, cubed small

2 teaspoons achari masala

1 tablespoon Greek yogurt

1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste

1 green chili, finely chopped (adjust to taste)

2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped (plus more for garnish)

1 pound naan dough or pizza dough

2 tablespoons butter or ghee, melted

1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a pan, heat a bit of oil and sauté ginger-garlic paste until fragrant.
  2. Add chopped green chili and achari masala, cooking for 1 minute.
  3. Stir in paneer and Greek yogurt; cook 4–5 minutes until paneer is coated and lightly browned. Let cool.
  4. Divide dough into small balls. Roll each into a 3–4 inch disc.
  5. Add a spoonful of filling to the center of each, pinch to seal, and flip seam-side down.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place filled dough balls on a parchment-lined tray.
  7. Brush with melted butter or ghee.
  8. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden and blistered.
  9. Garnish with cilantro and serve warm with your favorite dip.
